my grandmother and my heritage with the seneca indians

An example of what the kachina dolls looked like that my grandmother used to make and well as story teller dolls...................... seneca nation of indians.......the wolf clan

Member of the wolf clan, the seneca reservation being in salamanca new york.

"We are the spirits as we speak are own songs and walk are own trails, fear not the road that seems to have no end for the journey is a lesson on the earth and you are only a grain of sand"-cheryl

Cant wait to actually visit the reservation one day, my grandmother was born there and was living there for a long time. Her father was married to her mother whom was born on the reservation. However when her mother passed away her father took her and she was forced to leave. She spent her childhood growing up hiding from the law as her father was a bootlegger. Finally she moved in wit her aunt and lived a small life kinda like that of cinderella. As fairytales are always told though is true because it made my grandmother an amazing person who till this day owns a piece of my heart that will always beat just for her and her stories and memories of the seneca idians and there ways i will cheerish with her.
